Professional Accomplishments

Financial Management
· Administered a $235 million grant from the US State Department to the Republic of Armenia, including establishing an automated accounting system compatible with US and RA requirements, full reporting and compliance programs, and mentoring staff of five professional Armenian accountants and one Ex-Pat.  Authored the first approved Fiscal Accountability Plan for MCC projects and designed and implemented tracking and reporting firms which are now required of all projects worldwide;
· Established and ran an emergency call center for use in the event of an airline disaster.  Responsible for bottom line responsibility of $1+ million annual budget and five full time and over 900 part time employees;
· Designed and operated a compliance program for a German airline to ensure compliance with US laws and regulations.

Auditing
· External Auditing – performed audits and reviews for client companies, including financial, forensic, operational and compliance, as well as Sarbanes Oxley reviews;
· Internal Auditing – 10 years of experience performing internal audits for two Fortune 500 companies, rising to the level of Audit Manager.
· Governmental Auditing – 10 years of experience in auditing governmental entities, including the US Departments of Defense, Energy and Agriculture and the Federal Energy Administration.
 
Investigations
· Investigated potential Accountant Liability claims for FDIC related to external audits of failed banks.  Supervised seven professionals and coordinated investigations with FDIC attorneys, outside counsel and other governmental investigators and agencies;
· Performed and/or assisted on numerous contract investigations involving theft, fraud, misrepresentation, malfeasance,  executive misconduct and external audit failure in the US and foreign countries;
· Performed Forensic Audits of public utility companies in Bosnia in preparation for privatization;
· International experience in Armenia, Bosnia, Brazil, Columbia, Croatia, France, Republic of Georgia, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, Vietnam and numerous other countries.
